The fighting is where the series will live and die, and I am pleased to announce that MK does not disappoint in this regard. NeatherRealm Studios took the game from the past, added a story, a challenge tower, and a solid tag team mode to create a package that will keep fighting fans busy for weeks, and that’s only the minimum if you don’t have friends to play with. Now, however, the series is back with the rebooted Mortal Kombat (MK), and this time they did it right. Turtle up, wait for a blown teleport, counter with, throw in an occasional kick or sweep or uppercut, and you'll keep him down.Mortal Kombat has always been a fighting game for the mature audience, but in recent years the series has lost much of the luster that the fatalities used to provide. Instead, Ermac can be destroyed with the Mileena Strategy as usual. Fight 57: ErmacĬSZ is back to taking normal damage so you can't just get in his face and pound away, and expect to give more than you take. NOTE : - x-ray attack of Cyber Sub-Zero should be started in air, so you need to make a jump before using it.

There is an easy, awesome technique to take down both of them, just keep on using teleport and then double front kick immediately after it and if your x-ray meter is full then use it.Double front kick isn't any combo or special attack it is just two times front kick. The important thing is to keep moving: after you deliver whatever you want to do, jump-out, get some distance, and repeat.

You can combo him, freeze and combo him, do a simple strong kick or sweep, uppercut, or whatever else you want to do. You'll be behind him, and then you have options.

You'll only have a split-second to deal with it when you see it, but when he does, quickly teleport. So instead, stay about jump distance away, and wait for him to commit to a projectile. If you try the same tactic, he'll just grab you out of the air and fling you across the screen. It's literally just that simple with Goro, though you might want to throw in a sweep now and then. Get in face, jump over him, and as you land, spam so you do a four-hit combo (once in the air, three more when you land). When Goro is at play, he can easily be exploited with cross-ups. This is another match where it's a tale of two sets of tactics, although they're generally about the same. This seems really unfair, but CSZ seems to take less damage from them than usual.

You'll have to do what should be called the Mileena Strategy here, because Sektor's teleports are his best weapon: if you're grounded and at about jump distance, turtle up, wait for Sektor to whiff his teleport, then counter him. Adding insult to injury is the fact that you're not allowed to do CSZ's X-Ray attack even when it's fully charged. Of course, the best strategy is to use all his moves together, but again, it's unnecessary if you're just blitzing through Story Mode to get all the unlocks.Īs far as this particular fight goes, Sektor is seriously aggressive and a real pain in the butt because he will combo you into next week. If you like Cyrax in other modes, you can always play CSZ like Cyrax and ignore his Iceballs. On Normal difficulty, as I'm sure you've seen by now, you don't necessarily have to play with maximum effectiveness, so you probably won't need to deal with every single move CSZ can do. Personally, I play CSZ like I do normal Sub-Zero, except I make use of the teleports. CSZ basically comes down at a 45-degree angle, though he seems to adjust himself if the opponent is very far or very close. Also, CSZ's X-Ray attack is done from the air: jump then hit your X-Ray to activate it.
